What range of budget can JTR Catering work with?
We can work with most any budget. From a light breakfast or lunch delivery, buffets, plated dinners, or anything in between, we work with you to find the best option for you and your guests. Our commitment to quality product and service ensures that you can feel confident in your decision to work with JTC no matter your budget.


What size caterings are available?
With extensive experience working with parties from 10 to 2,000, JTR Catering can provide services for any size group.


The venue for my event doesn’t have a kitchen. Can JTR Catering still cater?
Absolutely! With or without an onsite kitchen, JTR Catering will always provide your guests an exceptional meal. We will contact your venue to determine what facilities are available and prepare accordingly.


If there are special items I want for the menu, is that possible?
Our team of chefs are happy to create special items just for your event! We will discuss the details of your vision with you and find the perfect dish.


I have some guests with allergies/dietary restrictions. Can JTR Catering accommodate these?
Yes! One of the many benefits of preparing everything in house, from scratch, is the ability to maintain control of included ingredients in nearly every item we serve. We are also able to help determine the best way to deliver these items to those specific guests.

Do we need to rent China, Flatware, and glassware ourselves?
We are happy to help with recommendations for needed rental items from any of the local party vendors.  The client/planner is responsible for all rentals needed for their event.


Is there a deposit required to hold my date?
There is a $500 non refundable deposit to hold your date.


What are the labor costs?
We use the best and flow our costs directly to the client.  Costs are $35 per hour, for each person (Lead Server, Bartender, Server), with a minimum of 5 hours and $40 per hour for holidays.


How many servers will I need for my event?
For a plated dinner, we provide one server for every fifteen guests. For buffet service, we provide one server for every twenty guests. We are happy to increase the number of servers at the client’s request.


Is there a delivery fee for drop-off catering deliveries?
Yes, there is a 15% delivery fee for drop-off catering within Tulsa City Limits. Deliveries outside of Tulsa City limits incur an additional fee of $1 per mile traveled.


Can you provide servers & setup for my off-site event?
Absolutely! We charge a 22% service & setup fee and $25/hour per server $30/hour per bartender and $30/hour per lead server we provide.


Is there a deposit required for my event?
Yes, we require a $500 deposit for all events. Your date is not reserved with us until we receive your deposit.


Do you provide chairs, plates, silverware, glasses, etc. for my event?
We do not provide any rentals but we are happy to assist you in your rental order needs, or we can coordinate a rental order for you with Party Pro rentals. You get to pick from their entire selection and you just pay their price + our 20% set-up & coordination fee on the total of the rental fee.  


What if my venue is far away?- Mileage and coverage area
JTR Catering has a coverage area of 20 miles from our facility.  If your event venue is outside of this coverage area, then a $1 per mile fee will be added for all Staff mileage that exceeds the 20 mile coverage area.


Can staff help set up and tear down?
Our staff are always happy to help set up and tear down.  All applicable labor costs would still apply to this time as well.


Do you offer catering through your other restaurants associated with Justin Thompson Restaurant Group?
Yes! We can provide any of your favorites from our restaurants. If there is something you love from their menus, simply let us know.


Can we have something from a JTR restaurant served at my event?
We absolutely can source recipes and your favorite dishes from any of our JTR Group Companies.  We love having this option and love discussing specialty items for each event.


Can you provide a bar for my event?
We are licensed to handle your bar needs in several different ways.  
Utilizing our expert bartending staff, there are a number of options available. We can provide you with a full service bar menu priced per drink/bottle. All of the details are taken care of, allowing you to relax and enjoy your event. Another option is to provide a cash bar for your guests (this can utilize cash, credit cards, and also drink tickets). Some occasions call for a combination, with certain drinks to be open to all guests (beer, wine, and specialty drinks are popular options) while giving them the choice of purchasing other drinks themselves (premium vodka, whiskey, etc…). Finally, we are also able to simply provide the bartending staff if you would like us to utilize your personally purchased supplies. We are happy to discuss further to determine which service is best for you.  


Do you provide cake cutting?
If needed, we can provide cake cutting for $1.50 per slice. Due to the intricacy of many cakes created for special events, the provider of the cake may wish to be the person making those cuts to ensure the integrity of the cake’s structure is maintained. In those instances we are happy to assist in the process at no additional charge.

We are happy to provide you with references from any of our past clients.  We also have many online reviews and references that we encourage you to research


When do you need our final choices?
The menu must be confirmed 10 business days prior to the event. This will also be the date the final numbers are due.


Do you still operate 624 Boston Venue?
We no longer operate the venue at 624 Boston and have moved our operations to 1115 S. Lewis Ave. Ste A, Tulsa OK 74104. Our private dining venues now include PRHYME Steakhouse and MixCo! We even now offer Brunch at Juniper from 10-2 on Sundays.
